Automatic Resync Mechanism

The resync feature in our system has traditionally required manual intervention. Users had to manually initiate the resync process from the calendar page whenever changes were made.

However, we now offer an automated option to ensure a seamless synchronization between the property and channel rooms. This automated resync feature will only appear if you are not utilizing the Allocation Management functionality and is switched OFF in the system.

If Allocation Management is ON, you would see the Automatic Resync button but don't worry because we have identified critical scenarios when automated resyncs could always be beneficial and those would always be triggered by the system in an automated way.

Below are the scenarios

  1. When Allocation management is ON, auto replenishment is OFF , availability is zero and a cancellation is received.
  2. When availability is zero and a new reservation is received.
  3. When Allocation management is OFF, Auto resync is OFF, availability is zero and a new reservation or cancellation is received.

With the automated resync, any new, modified, or cancelled bookings will automatically trigger the synchronization process. This ensures that the inventory remains consistent and up-to-date between Rate Tiger and the associated channels. This automation simplifies the process and reduces the need for manual intervention.


  1. To set up the functionality, start by accessing the Settings located at the top right-hand corner.
  2. Click on Advanced settings.
  3. In the Advanced tab, you will be directed to the Automatically trigger re-syncs options.
  4. If you want the aforementioned functionality to be active for your property, toggle the switch to the "on" position.
  5. Finally, remember to save the changes by clicking on the Save button.
