Channel Mappings

Introduction: The Channel Mapping screen available in RT 3.0 allows you to map your property rooms and rates with various channel room rates. This manual will guide you on how to access and utilize this feature effectively.

Accessing Channel Mapping:

• Log in to the CRS (Central Reservation System).
• Click on the "Settings" tab located in the upper right-hand corner.
• Choose "Product" from the menu options.
• Within the Product section, access Channel Mapping by selecting "Channel Mappings" from the sub-menu.
• This screen provides channel-wise view.
• To view mappings for a particular channel, click on the desired channel.
• If the channel is newly added, fetch products from the channel.
• Similar to Global View, the left side presents channel room rates, while the right side shows property room rates.
• The channel-specific page will indicate the number of unmapped products.
• It's recommended to Fetch and Refresh products to ensure synchronization in Rate Tiger, especially after any modifications in channel extranet room rates.
• For viewing the unmapped products only, use the "Show only Unmapped Products" checkbox.
• To expedite mappings, consider using "Map with RateTiger AI" after adding a channel. This will populate property room rates against each channel room.

• If you wish to change any mappings suggested by RateTiger AI, simply select the desired property room rate from the dropdown.
• For products previously mapped using AI, you can retry AI-based mapping suggestions by clicking the Retry button beside the product.
• If there are no products created, please make sure to create them first before proceeding with channel mappings. For more details on product creation and mappings, refer to the "Rooms and Rates section.

• If you have unsaved changes in the page, it will show you a Pop up as per above screenshot.

• If you have added any channel in your property for the first time, please fetch the channel rooms using the "Fetch and refresh" button as shown in the screenshot above.
