Expedia Images

This feature is exclusively available to Expedia subscribers, allowing them to efficiently manage images through the RateTiger system. By following the instructions below, you can easily handle your images on Expedia.

  1. To access the Expedia Images feature, log in to your system.
  2. Once logged in, you'll find a dedicated widget titled "Expedia Images" on the main dashboard.

3. Clicking on "Go to Images" within the widget will redirect you to the specific page designed for image management on Expedia.

4. Upon redirection to the Expedia Images page, all images associated with your property on Expedia will be automatically retrieved.

  1. You can identify the primary image by hovering your mouse pointer over the checkmark symbol.
  2. Inactive images on Expedia will be displayed at a different resolution, appearing faded on this page.
  3. Any errors or comments from Expedia will be visible by hovering over the ' ! ' symbol placed on the image.
  4. Each image also offers two action buttons: "Edit" and "Delete."

9. Images are categorized into two groups: Property level and Room level images.

  1. Hotel images set on Expedia will be displayed under Property Image section on this page.
  2. The second category displays images per channel room, as created on Expedia extranet. If there are no images uploaded for a specific channel room, it will be indicated as "No pictures have been uploaded so far."


  1. Clicking "Upload new image" will open a pop-up where you can select or upload new images for creation.
  2. If multiple images need to be uploaded, you can select them all at once.
  3. Select images and click "Continue with selection" to proceed with posting it on Expedia.

  1. Clicking on "Continue with selection" will open another pop up as shown in the screenshot below. On the left hand side, you will see the image selected. On the right hand side, you can see the heading as Adding images for Property or room (specific channel room name ).
  2. You shall also get Category list in dropdown based on whether it is a property level image or room level image. There is a checkbox to define if you wish to define the image as a Primary one.
  3. As soon as you click on Save changes, it shall push the images for creation at Expedia end. Successful creation will close the pop up and refresh the entire page so latest images must reflect in the gallery.
