How to create Rate plans ?

To create a rate plan in RT 3.0, you must first log in to your system and select your hotel from the dropdown menu, which will be automatically pre-selected for single hotel users. Next, click on the profile icon located in the top right-hand corner of the screen, and a dropdown menu will appear. From this menu, select the "Settings" option.

Proceed by selecting the "Product" option, followed by "Rate." To create new rate plans, simply click on the "Add rate plan" button, which is highlighted in the screenshot provided.

Click on Edit option and upon entering the rate code as shown in screenshot below, you'll see options to map rooms to the rate plan. Alternatively, you can activate the "Assign all existing and future room types" button to automatically assign any new rooms created in the future.

Once you have entered the Rate Plan Code and Rate Plan name, please click on "Details" located next to the Rate Plan Name to enter all other information.

There is a feature available to generate both brief and comprehensive descriptions, as well as the ability to translate them into various languages.

You can define the Rate Type example Published, Negotiated etc. as shown in the screenshot above .

It is mandatory to assign each rate plan to a corresponding payment and cancellation policy.

The rate plans can also have seasonal policies which shall apply only for a certain period of time.


You can now set the default Stop Sell status to either Open or Closed when mapping a rate plan to a room type, eliminating the need to manually configure daily values

If your rate plan has static restrictions, use the feature below in the rate plan section. A one-time setup will apply it to all dates and mapped rooms. Note that enabling restrictions here will disable restriction updates from the Manage Calendar page to prevent conflicts.
